Cafe Supernatural provides quick cuisine using as much local and organically grown ingredients as possible. Located in the heart of Salt Lake City with Prana Yoga Trolley Square, our efforts are to sustain optimal health for the individual. With a 100% plant-based and 100% gluten-free menu, the community can enjoy a refreshing meal and drink to stay or on the go. We strive to create thoughtful dishes to our environment in mind. Guests can enjoy a fresh pressed juice, latte and a made to order raw foods wrap or Korean-style steamed vegetable plate a block away from the 700 East Trax stop. Cafe SuperNatural has a zero waste policy and runs on wind power. Our atmosphere provides an environmental and sanctuary feel and invites guests to stay for as long as they desire. Cafe SuperNatural is Chef Ian Brandt’s culmination of 21 years of culinary arts and restaurant service experience. Ian first opened Sage’s Cafe in 1998, a successful high-end vegetable based cuisine restaurant in downtown Salt Lake City and in 2007 he established Vertical Diner, a plant-based American Style eatery in South Salt Lake. Ian has run Cali’s Natural Foods since 2009, a warehouse open to the public providing sustainable produced bulk foods as well as local and organically grown produce. Cali’s Natural Foods is the main speciality foods supplier for Sage’s Cafe, Vertical Diner and Cafe SuperNatural. Ian specializes in pure vegetarian cuisine, gluten-free and raw food preparations, sustainable food sourcing and growing practices with extensive knowledge in restaurant development.
